Health Initiatives
The Zeta Chi Chapter proudly partners with the American Cancer Society in Relay For Life, raising funds and awareness to help stomp out cancer. Through donations and community support, they honor survivors, support caregivers, and join the fight to find a cure.
The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity's Health Initiative program promotes good health practices among its members and the communities we serve through activities like the Charles Drew Blood Drive and partnerships with organizations such as the American Diabetes Association and Relay For Life. The Zeta Chi Chapter actively supports this program by hosting community walks every other Saturday at Joseph C. Carter Park in Fort Lauderdale, organizing health screenings, facilitating blood drives, and conducting educational workshops on critical health issues. Additionally, the chapter incorporates a "Medical Minute" during monthly meetings, where a doctor brother shares insights on maintaining physical and mental health, ensuring a positive impact on both the community and the fraternity.
